Meet Our Instructors
Ryan Etzler
A combat-tested Marine infantryman and law-enforcement professional with a career built on operational readiness, precision, and tactical leadership. Over the course of 12 years in the United States Marine Corps, he executed multiple deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, operating in high-threat environments and contributing to mission sets requiring discipline, adaptability, and decisive action.
Transitioning from military operations to domestic security, Ryan has spent more than a decade as a Special Police officer, applying battlefield-honed judgment to real-world law-enforcement challenges. As an MPCTC-certified instructor, he develops and delivers training that reinforces tactical proficiency, officer survivability, and rapid decision-making under pressure.
Ryan’s skillset extends into advanced firearms and active-threat response instruction. He is an NRA-certified Firearms Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, and ALERRT certified, enabling him to prepare officers and security personnel for violent encounters, dynamic shooting environments, and critical incident responses.
Whether training units, securing vulnerable environments, or operating alongside other professionals, Ryan brings a mission-focused mindset, high technical competence, and a commitment to elevating the tactical readiness of those around him.
Jason Gross

Jason Gross is an operations professional with over 16 years of frontline service across military and law enforcement roles.
He served three years in the U.S. Army, including a combat deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he developed mission-focused discipline, adaptability under pressure, and team-based execution in high-risk environments.
Following military service, Jason spent 13 years as a Sheriff’s Deputy, serving as a SWAT Team member, Drug Task Force operative, and Firearms Instructor. His experience includes high-risk warrant service, narcotics investigations, tactical operations, and advanced firearms and response training.
Jason holds a Firearms Instructor certification and is ALERRT certified, bringing specialized expertise in active threat response, tactical decision-making, and training development. He is known for calm leadership, operational precision, and a strong emphasis on safety, preparedness, and accountability.
Jason contributes real-world tactical experience, training authority, and execution discipline, making him a valuable asset in security, training, and high-liability operational environments.
